Our unique formula: The science behind TRIM 1+1

Magnolia officinalis contains Honokiol and Magnolol, which enhance the activity of GABAA receptors and exhibit anxiolytic effect and reduce stress related conditions such as bodyweight gain, sleep disturbances and restlessness due to elevated cortisol levels.

Green tea extract contains epigallocatechin-3-gallate(EGCG) and caffeine, synergistically boosting thermogenesis. EGCG inhibits catechol O-methyl esterase (COMT) that causes degradation of norepinephrine. Accumulation of norepinephrine prolongs stimulation of adrenergic receptors specifically 𝛃(beta)-adrenergic receptors. Caffeine inhibits the phosphodiesterase-induced degradation of intracellular cyclic AMP (cAMP). Combined bioactivity of this synergistic interaction leads to increased energy expenditure and fat oxidation.

Amylase converts complex carbohydrates such as starch into oligosaccharides which are further broken down into monosaccharides by glucosidase. Phaseolus vulgaris contains amylase inhibitors , alpha-A1, alpha-A12 and alpha-A-IL. Amylase inhibitors bind to alpha-amylase non-covalently mainly through hydrophobic interaction, inhibiting starch digestion.

Chitosan is positively charged in the acidic stomach environment and forms a gel like matrix. The swollen gel matrix binds various negatively charged lipids as well as traps some fats through various interactions. As the gel matrix reaches the small intestine, the bound and trapped fat molecules are not available for digestion and do not add any caloric value. This gel matrix eventually gets excreted from the body.

Psyllium is partially soluble and fermentable and is widely used as a laxative. Psyllium forms a viscous gelatinous mass in the stomach inducing satiety. Psyllium acts as a demulcent and assists in gastrointestinal motility Prebiotic fibres contribute to microflora balance and support gastrointestinal health.
